How It Works
Repairs are carried out on-site at a mutually suitable time and location by our National network of qualified tradesmen, effectively bringing the repair shop to you. You can rest assured knowing that most minor damage will typically only cost $50.00*.
Apply for Membership
Sign up online. Your vehicle must be under 5 years old with no existing damage to qualify.
Wait Period & Payment
There’s a 30-day wait before you can request repairs. Your membership fee is debited monthly.

Repair Guide
The following guide outlines the extensive list of repairs that are included in your Jim’s CAR Protect membership. Any one repair is just $50.00*
- Paint scratch, scuff, chip, or dent / up to 200mm in diameter and 3mm in depth on a single metal panel
- Interior Leather & Vinyl tears / up to 100mm in length
- Surface scratches / covering up to 4 panels
- Bumper bar & body kit scrapes / up to 500 mm in diameter
- Plastic mirror casing / no size limit
- Interior leather & vinyl / one tear up to 100mm in length and 6mm in width
- Alloy wheel scuffs / no size limits (point to any alloy wheel)
- Member discounts on repairs that exceed the member program repair guide limits but still repairable by a mobile repairer

Pricing
Becoming a Jim’s CAR Protect member is quick and easy. Each year you remain a member, there’s one low all-inclusive fee with an Alloy Wheel option… payments can be made annually or monthly.
*Jim’s CAR Protect Memberships are not transferable and not suitable for cars used as tool of trade and commercial purposes. The join fee and annual fee is fully refundable during the first 30 days from joining. Please see terms & conditions for full member information.

Main exclusions
- Damage that existed prior to becoming a member
- Any damage that exceeds the repair size limits
- The repair of any damage that requires replacement parts.
- The replacement of decals and body wraps
- Any damage that has caused structural damage.
- Damage to roof boot lid and bonnet
- Damage to any textured moulded plastic component
- Dents caused from hail stones.
- Damage that is not contained to one panel
- Repair requests outside the service area

- Once a member you can request up to a maximum of 1 repair in any one month
- Each repair that falls within the repairs guide will cost $50.00*
